PureSpelt strawberry milk

for four, approx. 3 dl servings

PureSpelt milk

80 g of PureSpelt kernels, unpolished
8 dl of water

Strawberry milk

400 g of strawberries, cleaned and prepared, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons of ground kernels or almonds
Raw sugar or concentrated pear juice according to taste
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
A few drops of lemon juice

Fresh strawberries for decoration

1

Soak the kernels in the water overnight.

2

Pour all of the mixture into a very powerful blender and blend for 3-5 minutes to form PureSpelt milk; use as desired while it is fresh.

3

To make the PureSpelt strawberry milk, add the strawberries, ground kernels or almonds, sugar or concentrated pear juice, vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Beat for 1-2 minutes until fluffy, pour into the glasses and serve immediately.

Suggestions

Depending on the season of the year, use other berries or fruits. Depending on the consistency of the drink, it can be diluted with fruit juice or almonds. Instead of the vanilla sugar use cinnamon. Mix 50-100 g of dried fruits with the kernels, e.g. mango, apricots, plums, etc., then soak the mixture overnight before blending as described above. For an even more nourishing milk, allow the kernels to soak for a further 2-3 days, rinsing them well every day with fresh water. Then blend the kernels with the water (as described above) and use as desired. The milk can be made even creamier if you add 2-3 tablespoons of nut butter. This can be purchased in drugstores, pharmacies or health food shops.
