PureSpelt Puff Pastry Flutes with Tapenade

Preparation time: approx. 15 minutes

Baking or cooking time: approx. 12 minutes

makes 15-20 flutes

Dough

approx. 350 g PureSpelt puff pastry, homemade or store-bought
a little PureSpelt half-white or white flour

Filling

approx. 90 g tapenade (olive spread), black or green

1

Forming: Using a little flour, roll out the dough to make a 25 x 45 cm rectangle. Spread tapenade on one half. Fold the other half over and cut into strips just under 1 cm. Twist each strip and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

2

Baking: Bake the flutes for about 12-15 minutes in the middle of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from oven and serve still warm or cooled down.

Tips

Instead of tapenade (olive spread), you can also use tomato or basil pesto, or your preferred vegetable spread.
If desired, you can lightly warm the flutes in the oven before serving.
